Important Information
Please Read Before Booking

Information for all visitors:

  • Every visitor must have a pre purchased ticket, it is not possible to purchase tickets at the farm

  • Unfortunately, our activities are not suitable for wheelchair users due to the hilly and uneven ground, unless they are staged on our yard. If you are a wheelchair user please get in touch to discuss alternative options

  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. This is the west coast of Scotland and we will operate in almost any weather. You will not be permitted to be around the alpacas in open toed footwear or with an umbrella

  • Walking shoes, boots or wellies are essential unless the activity is staged on our yard as our land can be wet and muddy

  • The activities will go ahead unless there is very heavy rain,  thunder, lightning or very high winds. We will refund you or reschedule your activity if it has to be cancelled

  • Alpacas are domesticated animals, but they are not pets. Visitors must respect this and behave in a calm and quiet manner to ensure everyone’s safety.

  •  Everyone in your party must follow any direction given by a member of staff to ensure everybody’s safety

  • Children must be closely supervised at all times by the adults in their party. Children must not run around or shout as this can cause alarm. Please ensure that the children you bring are able to comply with this

  • Dogs are not not permitted anywhere on the farm. Please do not bring them along

  • Activities can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the activity. Contact us by phone or email to do this. Cancellations under 48 hours are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled

  • We reserve the right to refuse participation in an activity if we feel there is a risk to your own safety or the welfare of the alpacas 

Meet & Greet Information

  • Suitable for any age. Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult

  • A maximum of two children can be supervised by one adult

  • Pushchairs are not allowed due to the uneven ground unless the meet and greet is taking place on our yard; infants must be carried

  • Visitors must attend the safety briefing at the start of the activity

 

Alpaca Experience Information

  • Anyone 14+ can lead an alpaca but each young person aged 14 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult

  • A maximum of 2 children aged 8 - 14 can accompany an adult leading an alpaca , but cannot lead the alpaca themselves.

  • A maximum of 2 people (children or adults) in total can accompany the person leading an alpaca

  • This experience is not suitable for individuals with restricted mobility, due the nature of the terrain around our farm. Please consider the Meet & Greet or contact us to see if we can make alternative arrangements

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your activity to ensure we start on time. Visitors must attend the safety briefing and we will not return for any late arrivals once the walk has started

  • There will be no refunds  for any late arrivals
